Our well-equipped and spacious kitchen provides excellent full catering facilities for a large number of people and a variety of occasions.
There are two levels of hire - full use or tea/coffee. The buffet category is no longer available. Full use allows for the preparation of cooked meals with an oven, hob and warming cupboards but does not guarantee exclusive use. Tea/coffee utilises hot water on demand (see the picture above) - kettles are not necessary.
The room has hatches to both the Main Hall and the Garden Room and can be shared between the two if the bookings are for tea and coffee. In addition, if it is booked for full use with one main room, it may still be booked for tea and coffee for the other. Please contact the office with any questions.
Cups, saucers, teapots and jugs are available and included in the hire fee. Approximately 120 dinner plates & pudding bowls can be hired for an additional fee (currently waived). Please note that cutlery, glasses, pans and baking trays are not available.
The kitchen must be left in a clean and tidy condition with everything washed up and put away. A commercial high-speed dishwasher is available - instructions should be read on arrival as it needs to be turned on for a while to heat the water. Washing up liquid is usually available but washing up cloths, scourers, tea-towels, bin bags etc. are to be provided by the hirer. All breakages and damage of any sort MUST be reported to the office at the earliest opportunity.
Brooms for sweeping up are stored in the cupboard in the entrance hall and a mop and bucket are kept in the Ladies toilet. Please be aware that all bins must be emptied and rubbish removed from Liston Hall and taken home at the end of a hire. There is no bin outside or in the car park for waste and penalty charges will be applied if we have to dispose of rubbish.
